Great excitement for the first CHIO Aachen CAMPUS Dressage Show
From April 10th to 14th, the first CHIO Aachen CAMPUS Dressage Show will take place at the legendary show grounds at the Soers. Dressage riders will be competing in the Deutsche Bank Stadium from the young rider class to the Grand Prix as well as in all para-grades.
The demand from the riders was so high, that the planned four-day dressage tournament has become a five-day event: The first CHIO Aachen CAMPUS Dressage Show will take place in the Deutsche Bank Stadium from April 10th to 14th. There will not only be a special atmosphere for the participants. "We also want to create a great event for our region with the show. On all five days, we invite visitors to the Aachen Soers to watch the competitions free of charge," says Birgit Rosenberg, Member of the Managing Board of the Aachen-Laurensberger Rennverein (ALRV).
The supporting program for the whole family includes an equestrian flea market on Sunday, April 14th. Pony rides and a meeting with the CHIO Aachen mascot Karli also await the visitors on this day, which is dedicated to the youth and the region. "So it's definitely worth stopping by at our show," emphasized Rosenberg.
She is not only convinced by the supporting program, but above all by the sporting competitions. "Our dressage tournament really offers something for everyone. We cover everything from the young rider class to the Grand Prix and are therefore delighted to have a very diverse starting field with some familiar faces." Another special aspect is the integration of para-dressage, for which there will be competitions at all grades.
Birgit Rosenberg is already confident that the staging of the first CHIO Aachen CAMPUS Dressage Show will be a complete success: "The dressage riders in particular, have repeatedly told us in the past that they would be very happy about a CAMPUS show. So we looked for the right setting and a date and found both this year. All the feedback we have received so far confirms that this was exactly the right decision."
Registration for the equestrian flea market
Anyone who would like to take part in the flea market for equestrian clothing and accessories on Sunday, April 14, can register here. If the weather is good, the flea market will take place outdoors; if it rains, it will be held in the stables. You must bring your own equipment (table and chair). There is no stall fee, but space is limited.
