CHIO Aachen CAMPUS Programme of Excellence: New year gets underway
Participants from all over the globe: The third year of the CHIO Aachen CAMPUS Programme of Excellence has got underway.
With the aid of the Programme of Excellence, the CHIO Aachen CAMPUS paves the way onto the top sporting circuit for aspiring young talents between the ages of 16 and 21. Over the course of several months, top show-jumping and dressage talents from all over the world are armed with all the tools they need to be successful at top competition level.
It is a big privilege here being able to provide the aspiring youngsters with the support of the head coaches, Isabell Werth (Germany) and Jos Lansink (Belgium), who both look back on uniquely successful careers on the international sporting scene: They are both Olympic gold medallists, World Champions and of course winners of the most difficult classes at the CHIO Aachen. In six training sessions in total, all of which take place at the famous CHIO showgrounds, the talents can profit from the know-how and skills of the two international equestrian sport stars.
Beyond this, the programme is also accompanied by many additional experts, who will train the youngsters in further important areas such as fitness, media coaching and nutritional counselling, training management, equine management or career planning.
The following participants are taking part in 2022/23:
Dressage: Anna Derlien (Germany), Ellen Hedbys (Sweden), Louisa Valkyser (France), Patty Vuntanadit (Thailand) and Paul Jöbstl (Austria)
Jumping: Frida Munk Lassen (Denmark), Evelyne Putters (Belgium), Alicia Timm (Canada), Mick Haunhorst (Germany), Nick Nanning (the Netherlands) and Max Paschertz (Germany)
