Two days of training with one of the most successful show jumpers in the world: Exclusive training course with Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum
You compete in jumping classes and ride at L level (1.15 m) at least and have always dreamt about being coached by an international top star at the traditional Aachen Soers showgrounds? Then, the CHIO Aachen CAMPUS has a unique opportunity in store for you. From August 23rd-25th, we are offering the participants the expertise of one of the world’s best show-jumpers: Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum. In two 45-minute semi-private training sessions on sand footing, the winner of the Rolex Grand Prix at the CHIO Aachen in 2005 will give you a direct feedback – optionally in German or English language. Together with you she will refine the coordination between you and your horse in the ring and subsequently give you valuable tips for your further training at home.
And that is not all: The course also includes the input of further experts on the themes mental coaching, fitness and course design. For example, the participants will receive advice on how personal blockages can be turned into strengths, thus allowing the best performance to be called up at the decisive moment. And since not only the self-confidence in one’s own abilities is of elementary significance to ensure success, but also the physical constitution of the rider, a fitness expert will give you specific tips on how you can improve your balance, body tension, coordination and last, but not least agility long-term so that you can communicate more effectively with the horse and apply finer aids. The diversified supporting programme is rounded off by a renowned course designer, who will show the participants the art of design courses.
This holistic approach, which not only covers the riding aspects, but also offers an all-round package, has already proved its worth in the scope of the Programme of Excellence of the CHIO Aachen CAMPUS. “The Programme of Excellence allows us to promote young talents by providing them with professional support and facilitate the transition to top level competition sport for them,” said Stefan Knopp, Director of the CHIO Aachen CAMPUS. “The exclusive course now offers riders of all age groups the opportunity to learn from the best coaches in the world and profit from their know-how.”
The exclusive training course costs 1,950 Euros per participant (max. 12 participants) incl. one accompanying person. The arrival date is Wednesday, August 23rd. The first programme items are already on the agenda on this day. The training with Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum starts on August 24th. The package includes accommodation in a hotel (one room), catering from morning to evening including two lunches and a BBQ with Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum as well as livery costs for one horse at the stables of the CHIO Aachen CAMPUS. It is also possible to arrive on August 24th. In this case the overall price is 1,700 Euros.
