Lars and Gerrit Nieberg are a successful duo. On the show grounds, father and son are always seen in a double pack. Every ride is planned in detail on site. They analyze it afterwards. And the two also spend most of the day together at home, namely when the horses are being trained at the Berl Estate in Sendenhorst, Westphalia, which is run by the Nieberg family. A family concept that works. The pictures from the CHIO Aachen 2022 are unforgotten, when Gerrit Nieberg's sensational victory in the Rolex Grand Prix sent the main stadium into a state of ecstasy and father Lars bursting with pride wiped a tear or two of joy from his face. The Niebergs discovered Gerrit's heart's horse, the Westphalian gelding Ben, as a young horse and very carefully introduced him to the great sport - right up to that unforgettable moment when not only Gerrit's dream, but that of an entire family, came true at the Aachen Soers.

The Niebergs are convinced that only the respectful and cooperative handling of the horse and a training concept that is adapted to the current performance capacity allow horse and rider to merge into a successful unit. Father and son will be demonstrating together how they succeed in doing this on December 11th on the traditional grounds of the CHIO Aachen CAMPUS. In the course of the moderated live training, during which Gerrit Nieberg will also climb into the saddle himself, the Niebergs will demonstrate what they attach particular importance to in their daily training and thanks to which refinements horses of different performance levels are perfectly prepared for the requirements in the course. In the three thematic blocks "Young horses", "Amateur riders" and "The way to the big sport", the spectators, who will always have the opportunity to ask the expert duo their personal questions, will receive valuable tips for the upcoming winter training with their horse at home.
