Live training with Jessica von Bredow-Werndl and Benjamin Werndl – one of the highlights in 2024

A live training session with Jessica von Bredow-Werndl and Benjamin Werndl as well as the first national dressage show of the CHIO Aachen CAMPUS – these are just two of the highlights that the year 2024 has to offer at the CAMPUS. Many of the dates are already online.

Last year the double Olympic gold medallist, Jessica von Bredow-Werndl was able to eternalise her name on the legendary winners’ board in Aachen with TSF Dalera BB for the first time – and as such fulfilled a childhood dream. Benjamin Werndl has also competed several times at the Soers, for example in 2022 he was a member of the German team in the Lambertz Nations Cup. When the successful siblings come to the CHIO Aachen CAMPUS in autumn, they will however be taking on the role of coaches. Because they will be holding a unique live training session in the Deutsche Bank Stadium on September 21st.

“I am immensely looking forward to this special event in Aachen,” said Jessica von Bredow-Werndl enthusiastically. “It is going to be the first masterclass together with my brother. Of course we have a special connection as siblings and training partners and we want to demonstrate this to the audience too.” The amiable horse lovers run a renowned equestrian sport business with great passion in Aubenhausen, Bavaria, where they train and sell dressage horses. They would now like to convey their training methods to the spectators in Aachen in an exclusive format.

The show will kick off on Thursday with a day for young horses at different levels. On Friday classes from medium advanced to Grand Prix level will be held. Then, on the Saturday among others the focus will lie on the para dressage riders (all grades), whilst the Sunday is dedicated to the beginner-level competitors, the youth and the region.

The participants are meeting up for the first time at the Soers at the end of March. Around 20 international participants are looking forward to the possibility of bringing their careers a significant step forward. Among others, they come from Latvia, Uruguay, Germany, Israel and Monaco – to mention but a few of the countries.
